Creative Economy Data & Directory Platform

A multi-role web platform for managing creative economy actors, products, supporting documents, and events. The system provides administrative verification workflows, dashboards and reporting for management, and a public directory that only displays products from approved records.

THE CHALLENGE

Creative economy data collection previously relied on forms, physical documents, and spreadsheet recaps, leaving information distributed across multiple media and making it harder to search, update, and consolidate into reports. A centralized system was needed to organize actor profiles, products, supporting documents, and event information within a single workflow.

WHAT I BUILT

  1. 01

Multi-role access for Administrators, Creative Economy Actors, and Management.

  2. 02

Verification workflows for actor profiles, products, and supporting documents before approved data is used in the public portal.

  3. 03

Public product directory with search and filters for subsector, actor, region, and price range.

  4. 04

Event management and activity registration with duplicate-registration protection.

  5. 05

Monitoring dashboards and filtered PDF reports for actor, product, and event data.

APPROACH

The application was built as a Laravel platform with separate access for administrators, creative economy actors, and management. Actors can register accounts, manage products, upload supporting documents, and register for events. Administrators handle data verification and event management, while management receives dashboards and filtered reports. Approved records are used to build a public product directory with search and filtering capabilities.

OUTCOME

The implementation delivers a centralized data workflow connecting actor registration, product and document management, administrative verification, events, a public directory, dashboards, and reporting. The system also provides data search and filtering together with PDF report exports for structured recaps.
